refined coastal cottage
built on the strong existing bones of this front facing ocean residence, we reimaged the home moving away from what was the existing hip roof language to more of a front facing gable style of architecture + then layering in the divided-light windows, brick detailing, a weathered shake roof, and lots of greenery bringing the architecture to life.
the surf ranch
somewhere between a california surf house + a western ranch. both rooted in natural materials, weathered woods, visible structure with privacy throughout the front facade and a striking lap pool running through the central courtyard.
the coastal charmer
inspired by the iconic alys beach community and cape dutch architecture - we incorporated these dreamy stepped gables, tall dormers with louvered shades, and a glass lined entry way slightly recessed to invite you in. but keeping simple massing so achieve an overall calm.
